Frequently asked questions

  • At Dialogos Global we are committed to ensuring our tutors receive $10 from every conversation straight into their hands. This means, wherever they are in the world, we find a way and cover the cost of all transfers or wires so they are guaranteed $10 per conversation.

  • At Dialogos Global we try to keep our conversations the best value possible, so our freelancers use free 40-minute Zoom accounts. This means you can book a back to back lesson, but you will need to be prepared for a break of up to 10 minutes between each call.

  • We love and encourage parents to sit in sessions with their kids and learn alongside them. Learning Spanish as a family can help with motivation and provide a fun learning environment with greater chance of long-term success.

  • You are free to change your tutor at anytime. The easiest way is to cancel any classes you have booked (making sure you cancel at least 24 hours before the next class so you’re not charged). You can then book a consultation with another tutor. Refunds take between three and five days to arrive in your bank account.

  • You can cancel your conversation and automatically receive a full refund up to 24 hours before your appointment. It may take between 3 and 5 days for that money to show up back in your account again. If for some reason you don’t see a refund within 7 days please contact us at holadialogos@gmail.com

    Cancellations are not available within 24 hours of your appointment and if you are unable to attend, they will be considered no-shows and you will still be charged for the lesson.

  • The fastest and preferred method for rescheduling is through our scheduling platform via your email. After scheduling an appointment, you will receive a confirmation email. At the bottom of the email there are three orange buttons. The first says “Change/Cancel Appointment”. Click this button to reschedule your appointment. Keep in mind your preferred time/date may not be available. If you scheduled on behalf of someone else and used their email or have accidentally deleted your confirmation email, please send an email to holadialogos@gmail.com. If you have your tutor’s direct contact information, you can also email them directly to ask for them to reschedule your appointment for you.

  • The day after each session, you will receive an email with a link to our feedback form, as well the links to re-book your tutor. Our feedback form is only available for those who have booked and attended their sessions. If you have general feedback about our website or mission, feel free to send a message on our Contact page and we will get back to you as soon as we can.
